On Tuesday, October 20, a massive technical glitch occurred in the operation of digital bank Revolut. Users report problems accessing accounts, making payments and money transfers. Some customers also faced card transaction declines when paying for purchases.

This was reported by BBC and RTÉ citing user reports and company confirmation.

Revolut acknowledged disruptions in several services at once. The company's technical team is working to restore access to services. The bank apologized to customers for the inconvenience.

On the official Revolut system status page for the UK, partial unavailability of a number of features was indicated during the check, including account login, card payments, transfers, ATM cash withdrawals and foreign exchange operations.

The company emphasized that customer funds and personal data remain safe. Revolut did not name the exact number of users affected by the issues.

At the same time, on October 20, technical problems also occurred in Google Cloud's cloud infrastructure in Europe. According to The Guardian, the disruptions affected several financial services. However, a direct link between Google Cloud malfunctions and the Revolut outage has not been officially confirmed.

At the time of preparing this material, the company had not announced the exact time of full restoration of all services. Information about service availability may change.
